Beta Omicron Alumnus Inducted into Pi Kappa Phi Hall of Fame
In July 2006, hundreds of Pi Kappa Phi’s from across the nation convened in Forth Worth, Texas for the fraternity’s 50th Supreme Chapter. Here, David D. Morgan, Beta Omicron (Northwestern State), was inducted into the Pi Kappa Phi Hall of Fame for his work in the field of business. A leader in the insurance industry for over 30 years, Morgan shared his experience as the first in his family to attend college and how joining Pi Kappa Phi, becoming archon, and choosing to lead set his life on a path of success. In his acceptance speech, Morgan spoke from the heart and how he had invested so much into his fraternity, but kept getting more and more out of it. He closed his remarks memorably by saying, “at some point in the past you got into Pi Kappa Phi, now, let Pi Kappa Phi get into you.”
