The Beta Omicron Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity is pleased to announce another very successful new member recruitment.  The Nu pledge class of associate members were hand-picked by the brothers of Beta Omicron.  Pi Kappa Phis are men of CLASS (Character, Leadership, Athletics, Scholarship, Service).  The active brothers hope to inspire the associates to work hard to become a part of America’s Leading Fraternity.  The associates are leaders on campus, participating in student organizations and athletics, as well as possessing a higher than average GPA.  The Nu Class of associates are Foster Adams, Taylor Richard, Collin McKnight, Brian Grant, Brad Deville, Brandon Ray, Tyler Poole, Alex Miley, Jake Horaist, Tre Moreland, and Cody Bourque.

Pi Kappa Phi Clock Commemorates 50 Years

Construction of the Alumni Plaza on the Northwestern campus is nearing completion.  One focal point of the courtyard includes a memorial clock donated by brother, alumni, family and friends of Pi Kappa Phi.  The clock commemorates the 50th anniversary of the chartering of the Beta Omicron chapter of Pi Kappa Phi at NSU.  In addition to the memorial clock, as section of brick pavers at the foot of the structure will be engraved with the names of those who contributed financially to the project.  The gift to Northwestern State University recognizes the time-honored bond the school and fraternity have developed.  Work on the plaza should be complete within the next few weeks.  A formal dedication will take place during Homecoming on Friday, October 27 at 3:00 p.m.
