Mid Year 2009: “The Power of One”
On January 9-11, Beta Omicron’s newly elected executive council traveled to St. Louis, Missouri for training in key roles within the chapter. The chapter leaders attended Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity’s Mid Year Leadership Conference. Almost 700 Pi Kappa Phi brothers received hands-on training in each of their leadership roles. They were able to exchange ideas with other chapters as well as receive direction from the national fraternity office. Prior to the conference, the newly-elected officers held retreat workshops and strategic planning sessions to establish a mission for the upcoming academic term. Also at that time, Alumni Advisors and members gathered to help shape the vision and goals for the chapter.
Archon Wil Adams, along with Chris Sanders, Brad Deville, Shayne Creppel, Chris Alley, Jon Lee, Cameron Moises, and Dustin Jackson attended the conference. Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity hosts Mid Year Leadership Conferences in Charlotte, NC; Philadelphia, PA; St. Louis, MO; and Los Angeles, CA. Alumnus Lane Luckie attended the Philadelphia Conference as a Ladder of Risk facilitator.
