Beta Omicron Chapter alumni, students convene in Baltimore for Supreme Chapter 58

Northwestern State University students and alumni played an active role in deciding the future direction of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity, while celebrating its accomplishments at the 58th Supreme Chapter.

July 25-28, 2024, Beta Omicron Chapter archon Mitchell Mayfield and Vice Archon Owen Stutzman gathered in Baltimore, Maryland for the biennial convention. Beta Omicron Alumni Chapter president Wes Breeden and Beta Omicron Chapter Advisor Scott Maggio were also in attendance.

During the four-day event, new legislation was adopted, national officers were elected, and members and alumni were recognized through resolutions and awards.

Friday evening, Breeden also participated in activities for the Nu Phi Society, a special designation for members who exemplify a life-long commitment to Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity, by supporting the Pi Kappa Phi Foundation. Collectively, the society contributes more than $60,000 in annual unrestricted revenue to the Foundation.

Throughout the convention, participants attended several leadership breakouts and panels on topics such as personal and professional development, alumni engagement, and the current state of fraternities and sororities on a national level.

Mayfield and Stutzman were assigned to the Alumni Engagement and Growth committees during the Supreme Chapter legislative sessions. Breeden also served on the Growth Committee.

Supreme Chapter 59 is planned for July 2026 in Scottsdale, Arizona.
