NSU Long Purple Line Induction | Noon – Natchitoches Events Center, Downtown Natchitoches
Northwestern State University will induct seven new members into its Alumni Hall of Distinction, the Long Purple Line. Tickets to the luncheon and ceremony can be purchased here.
Dedication of the David & Sherry Morgan Health Performance Center | 3:00 p.m. – NSU campus
Join the NSU community for a special dedication and ribbon cutting for the brand new David & Sherry Morgan Health Performance Center on NSU’s campus.
NSU Homecoming Parade & Pep Rally | 5:30 p.m. – Downtown Riverbank
Join us for the NSU Homecoming parade and pep rally. The parade will head toward the riverbank from campus, heading north down Jefferson Street. The parade will feature colorful floats with spirit groups, registered student organizations, Greeks, the Homecoming Honor Court and campus dignitaries.
Return of the Cove | Evening – 5948 Highway 1 Bypass, Natchitoches
The NSU Alumni Association will host “Return of the Cove” at Mariner’s Restaurant for all alumni and friends.

Jack McCain Memorial Service and Beta Omicron Open House | 9:00 a.m. – Pi Kappa Phi Chapter House, 416 South Jefferson Street
Brothers of the Beta Omicron Chapter will take part in a subritual honoring the life of founding archon Jack P. McCain, Jr. An open house for Pi Kapp alumni, their families, and our students will immediately follow. We’ll give tours of the chapter house and have an update on the successes of the student chapter. Swap stories of your favorite chapter moments, search for your composite pictures, and check out our display of chapter historic artifacts.
College of Business & Technology Hall of Fame Welcome Breakfast & Induction Ceremony | 9:00 a.m. – Russell Hall, NSU campus
NSU’s College of Business and Technology will honor Pi Kappa Phi alumnus Wes Breeden as part of a class of six alumni inducted into the College of Business and Technology Hall of Fame.
Tailgating | 11:15 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. – Donald’s Demon Alley, NSU campus
Get ready for the Demons to take the field while enjoying food & fun with fellow Demon fans. Join us at the Pi Kapp tent for family fun, food, food, and fraternity!

We’ll gather in front of the tailgating tent for a Beta Omicron Chapter group picture, featuring generations of Pi Kapps.
NSU Pregame Activities | 1:30 p.m. – Turpin Stadium, NSU campus
Enjoy the pre-game show by the Spirit of Northwestern Marching Band and other pre-game activities.
NSU Homecoming Football Game vs. Nicholls State University | 2:00 p.m. – Turpin Stadium, NSU campus

Be sure to be on the lookout for several of our Pi Kappa Phi members performing with the band and spirit groups. Pi Kappa Phi members Owen Stutzman, K.C. Thompson, and Daniel Gallagher will be recognized as part of NSU’s Homecoming Honor Court. Stutzman will also be announced as Mister NSU.

Beta Omicron Alumni Chapter Annual Business Meeting | 6:30 p.m. – Virtual meeting
The annual business meeting of the Beta Omicron Alumni Chapter will be held following Homecoming Week festivities. Due to the number of alumni who live out-of-state, the meeting will be held virtually, via Zoom. A link will be emailed to all alumni wishing to participate. Annual dues may be paid here.
