FRIDAY, OCTOBER 26, 2018
NSU Homecoming Golf Tournament
11:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. – Northwestern Hills Golf Course
The NSU Alumni Association hosts its annual Homecoming golf tournament at Northwestern Hills. Lunch will be served at 11 a.m. and the four-person scramble gets underway with a shotgun start at Noon. Prizes will be awarded for first, second & third place teams, longest drive and closest to the hole. For information, click here or contact the NSU Office of Alumni & Development at 318-357-5213. Registration closes Wednesday, October 18.
Tours of Varnado Hall
1:00 p.m. – Varnado Hall, NSU campus
Take a tour of the newly-renovated and restored historic Varnado Hall on the NSU campus.

NSU Homecoming Parade
5:30 p.m. – 730 University Parkway (College Avenue), Natchitoches
The annual Homecoming parade will travel turn left from Central Avenue onto University Parkway, proceeding west before turning left onto Tarleton Drive and ending Prather Coliseum. Come join us for this special event! The Pi Kappa Phi undergraduate members will be featured on their parade float. You can watch from the Pi Kapp House parking lot!
NSU Pep Rally
6:00 p.m. – Collins Pavilion, NSU campus
Join NSU President Chris Maggio, Head Football Coach Jay Thomas and all of our Homecoming honorees for a special pep rally and recognition ceremony packed with entertainment from the NSU spirit groups. Located at Collins Pavilion at the tailgating area. A DJ will be playing music and the Homecoming awards will be announced at this time.
After Hours: Downtown by Decades
8:30 p.m. – Downtown Natchitoches
All NSU graduates are invited to casual social gatherings by graduation year. Groups will meet at various locations in downtown Natchitoches: 1960s-1970s (Mayeaux’s); 1980s (Maglieaux’s); 1990s (Mama’s Oyster House); 2000s (The Landing); 2010s (Pioneer Pub).
Afterward, we’re encouraging all Beta Omicron alumni to meet at the bar in the new Hotel St. Denis on Second Street (across from the Natchitoches Events Center).

Pi Kappa Phi Active/ Alumni Breakfast
8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. – Pi Kappa Phi Chapter House, 730 University Parkway
Active members will host a casual breakfast for alumni at the Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity House. Tours of the chapter house renovations will also be given at this time.
Pi Kappa Phi Annual Alumni Chapter Business Meeting

All Pi Kappa Phi alumni are invited to the annual meeting of the Beta Omicron Alumni Chapter and Housing Corporation. All Pi Kapps and their families are invited to take part in good food and fun before the game at the Pi Kapp tent, which is located just to the east of the NSU Fieldhouse. It will be a great time to visit with friends you haven’t seen in a while and build relationships with fellow alumni. Join the Pi Kappa Phi alumni and active members in their tailgating zone for plenty of fun and brotherhood.
Hall of Distinguished Educators Induction Ceremony
1:30 p.m. – Teacher Education Center auditorium, Pod A, NSU campus
Beta Omicron Chapter alumnus Dr. Larry Gracie will be honored during an induction ceremony for NSU’s Hall of Distinguished Educators.
