Annual Pi Kappa Phi Golf Tournament returns in 2021

Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity at Northwestern State University will hold its annual golf tournament at Northwestern Hills Golf Course on Saturday, April 10, 2021.

The 2020 tournament was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and health and safety restrictions in place at the time.

This year, all applicable state and local considerations will remain in place.

Alumni of the fraternity, community members, and friends and family are invited to enter two-person amateur teams.

Cash and prizes will be awarded to the winning team, 2nd place, the ‘Longest Drive’ winner, and to the winner of ‘Closest to Pin.’

The tournament’s popular ‘fun’ format, a scramble featuring gimmick holes such as speed putt, girls putt, and pick-a-club, will return for the event’s 14th iteration.

Registration fees are $50.00 per player, which includes: green fees, team golf cart, drinks and lunch. Players may register online at http://www.pikappNSU.org/golftournament or at the clubhouse on the day of the event.

Area businesses, organizations, and individuals are also invited to support the students leaders of Pi Kappa Phi through hole sponsorships. Sponsor logos and custom messages will be placed on a sign at each hole, as well as on the fraternity’s website and social media.
