On July 21, 2006, Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity members Rodney Clements, Jake James, Michael Tiffany, Lane Luckie, DJ Klucznik, Matt LeBlanc, Adam Upshaw, Randy Smith, and Brandon King traveled to Shreveport, Louisiana to welcome fellow Pi Kappa Phi members from chapter across the country who are members of the the Journey of Hope team.
After visiting with the cyclists, they spent time dancing and playing basketball with the residents of Holy Angels, a home for disabled persons. Everyone enjoyed barbecue hamburgers, snacks, and soda. Pi Kappa Phi National President J. Ernest Johnson and Beta Omicron chapter alumni Wayne Waddell and Steven Austin were also in attendance at the arrival.
