Pi Kappa Phi's Rose Ball formal held in New OrleansBeta Omicron chapter of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity’s annual Rose Ball formal was held March 2-3, 2007 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Chapter Historian Manny Augello said the event was a big success. “This fall was the 50th anniversary for Beta Omicron, so we wanted to make the spring formal an equally impressive celebration.”

The two-day event included planned group events, time for relaxation and shopping, and a formal banquet.  The banquet, held at the Jazz Legends Courtyard on Bourbon Street, was the main event of the weekend.  Following the dinner, an awards ceremony honored outstanding brothers as well as the presentation of the Rose Court.

Those receiving chapter awards included: Michael Puissegur- Mr. Pi Kappa Phi, Rodney Clements- Excellence in Dedication, Alex Miley- Associate of the Year, Manny Augello- Active of the Year, Lane Luckie- Excellence in Campus Involvement, and Chad Hancock- Excellence in Scholarship.

The 2007 Rose Court was also announced. Ginna McCowen was named Rose Queen and Mandi Rigdell, Abi Broussard, Shelly Roberts, and Brook Bartholomew were named to the court.
