Two NSU Greek Organizations worked together to raise money to benefit a local family on September 15, 2007.

Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity and Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority raised over $500 to benefit a local family who recently lost their 11-year-old daughter in a car accident.

Members of both organizations spent the day washing cars and shining tires for the cause.

Sigma Sigma Sigma member Ginna McCowen said, “We knew we had to do something to help with this family’s loss.”

Pi Kappa Phi associate member Kyle Domangue was glad to help.  “You just hope somebody would reach out to you, if this happened to you,” he said.
