Pi Kappa Phi member named NSU ‘Greek Man of the Year’

Zachary Cooper, a member of the Beta Omicron Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity was named Northwestern State University’s 2024 ‘Greek Man of the Year.’

He received the honor at the NSU Student Experience Honors Banquet on April 18.

Cooper, a senior communications major from Winnsboro, is the son of Sherry Cooper-Carroll and Tim Carroll. He is also a member the Spirit of Northwestern Marching Band, the Order of Omega and Demon Volunteers in Progress. He is a member of Demon Mentor Network, Alpha Lambda Delta and a mentor for the President’s Leadership Program.

Cooper was 2023 NSU Homecoming King and was previously a freshman orientation leader and member of the Student Government Association.

Cooper’s involvement on campus was also recognized as a recipient of the David D. Morgan Extra Mile Scholarship and the Morgan First Generation Scholarship.

He is currently a Branch Administration Intern at BOM.
