After a year of exceptional success for Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity at NSU, the chapter’s recruitment efforts only highlight a tradition of excellence. The Beta Omicron chapter has selected 15 men to carry on a 54-year legacy of brotherhood at Northwestern State University.
The new members, many of whom are freshman, are leaders on campus. Phi Class is represented in the Spirit of Northwestern Marching Band, the NSU Football Team, Student Government Association, Criminal Justice Club, Student Activities Board, The NSU Student Alumni Association, and dominates intramural sports.
The associate class includes: Spencer Burley, Brian Causey, Nathan Favaloro, Ryan Jeffords, Kolt Kays, Russell Patrick, Alex Nall, Nick Nguyen, Dylan Nolan, Aaron Rachal, John Simar, Kyle Sandoval, Chris Voinche, and Jay Whitehead. These associate members have committed themselves to a member education program that will give them the tools to build themselves into better men.
Warden Kyle Duhon will direct their member education program. “This is one of the finest groups of new members our chapter has recruited in recent years,” said Duhon. “I am excited to see what the future holds for our Fraternity with these men involved.” Phi class is the 21st group of associates since re-founding in 2000.
