More than a dozen teams of Pi Kappa Phi alumni, family and friends of the Fraternity, NSU Greeks, and community members teed-off in bright sunshine and cool weather for Pi Kappa Phi’s 7th annual Golf Tournament.
On March 16, 2013, amateurs competed in the Beta Omicron Chapter’s two-person scramble. Tournament winners were NSU Greeks Calin Gould and Tyler Trichell, with a score of 6 under par. Pi Kappa Phi alumni John Hall and Foster Adams placed second, with a score of 68. Adams also took home the top spot in one the two individual competitions: closest to the hole. Trichell claimed the longest drive for the event.
Tournament Coordinator Sean Austin said this year’s event was made possible in part by several hole sponsors. “We want to extend a special ‘thank you” to several special individuals and Natchitoches-area businesses that helped make our tournament a big success,” Austin said. Sponsors include: Maggio’s Drive Thru, Sodexo at NSU, Pi Kappa Phi alumnus Alan Pasch and wife Yonna, Collins and Stamey Real Estate, Alumnus Robert Crew and wife Jacque, Neebo, Magee’s Patio Cafe, The Hall Tree, & alumnus Larry Gracie.
In addition to several chapter members, the following Beta Omicron Chapter alumni took part in Saturday’s tournament: Cameron Moises, Chris Rajewski, DJ Klucznik, Foster Adams, John Hall, Joey Kliebert, Kie Boyett, Kyle Domangue, Kyle Duhon, Lane Luckie, Matt Clark, and Steven Carrier.
