Char’Tarian Wilson, a member of the Beta Omicron Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity, has been named 2018 Northwestern State University Homecoming King.
The honor court, which is selected by a vote of students, participate in activities during Homecoming Week and will be presented at halftime of the Homecoming game against Houston Baptist University on Saturday, October 27.
A native of Shreveport, Louisiana Wilson is the son of Charles and Sylvia Wilson. He is a junior biology major who plans to obtain a Masters in Physician’s Assistant and enter the medical field.
Char is very involved on campus, serving as Secretary of Pi Kappa Phi, Event Coordinator of the Student Activities Board, President’s Leadership Program, Demon Days Committee, Spirit of Northwestern Marching Band, NSU concert band, NASA JOVE research program, Alpha Lambda Delta First Year Honor Society, Freshman Connection, and NSU Cheer.
He joins a long line of Pi Kappa Phi members elected to the NSU Homecoming Court.
