Northwestern State University students and alumni played an active role in deciding the future direction of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity, while celebrating its accomplishments at the 59th Supreme Chapter.

July 23-26, 2026, Beta Omicron Chapter archon Owen Stutzman and former archon Spencer Bowden gathered in Scottsdale, Arizona for the biennial convention. Beta Omicron Alumni Chapter president Wes Breeden, alumnus and Pi Kappa Phi Hall of Fame member David D. Morgan, Sr., and Beta Omicron Chapter Advisor Scott Maggio were also in attendance.

During this dynamic, one-of-a-kind experience, chapters united as one Supreme Chapter to conduct official business, celebrated achievements through awards and banquets and reconnected with brothers from across generations.

Friday evening, Breeden and Morgan also participated in activities for the Nu Phi Society, a special designation for members who exemplify a life-long commitment to Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity, by supporting the Pi Kappa Phi Foundation. Collectively, the society contributes more than $60,000 in annual unrestricted revenue to the Foundation.

Throughout the convention, participants attended several leadership breakouts and panels on topics such as personal and professional development, alumni engagement, and the current state of fraternities and sororities on a national level.

Stutzman was assigned to the Alumni Engagement committee during the Supreme Chapter legislative sessions, while Bowden participated in the Wardens’ Academy. Breeden also chaired the Member Education committee.

The Beta Omicron Alumni Chapter was recognized among the National Fraternity’s top alumni organizations, receiving a Champion Master Alumni Chapter designation.
