NSU student leaders return from Pi Kapp College with renewed purpose, top honors

Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity members from Northwestern State University are returning to campus with a road map for success in 2016. Over the weekend of January 15-17, the NSU Pi Kapps joined more than 300 students, staff and volunteers from around the nation to take part in Pi Kapp College for Chapter Officers in Birmingham, Alabama.

Beta Omicron chapter commemorates Pi Kappa Phi’s national founding with banquet

111 years after Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity was founded, the Beta Omicron Chapter at Northwestern State University marked the anniversary by welcoming its newest members and honoring the founding fathers who began this tradition of inspiring its members to become leaders.

Jim Bob Key initiates into Pi Kappa Phi more than 60 yrs. after joining predecessor

The newest initiate of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity at Northwestern State University has a unique connection to the chapter’s earliest members. Jim Bob Key was one of the last members of Phi Kappa Nu, a local fraternity that later became the Beta Omicron Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi in 1956.

2015-2016 board of directors elected to Beta Omicron Alumni Chapter

A slate of seven alumni of the Beta Omicron Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity have been elected to guide the efforts of the alumni chapter. Lane Luckie; DJ Klucznik; David Morgan, Sr.; Wil Adams; Joey Kliebert; Rodney Clements; and Wes Breeden will serve as the 2015-2016 board of directors.

Cain earns crown in pageant with purpose, named 2015 ‘Miss Ability’

Carrigen Cain has been named the 2015 Northwestern State University Miss Ability. The annual pageant, held November 19, is an outreach project of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity, which aims to raise awareness on behalf of people with disabilities.

NSU Pi Kappa Phi alumnus, Air Force airman graduates elite Ranger School

More than 4,000 soldiers go through the prestigious U.S. Army Ranger School each year. The number of U.S. Air Force airmen who have completed the course since its inception in 1950 is only a little over 300. Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity alumnus Marcos Silverio is now among those elite airman rangers.
